Norethisterone

Norethisterone is a progestogenic hormone. This hormone, along with estrogens, plays an important role in the menstrual cycle and ovulation. One of the possible consequences of a hormonal imbalance is menstrual disorders. Norethisterone can be administered in several ways. The doctor will indicate which treatment is most suitable for you. In most cases, Norethisterone is only taken during the second half of the menstrual cycle. If you want to delay menstruation, you will have to start taking the tablet three days before the expected start date and continue for up to two weeks. For endometriosis or menopausal complaints, Norethisterone is usually taken continuously and for a longer period. Norethisterone is swallowed without chewing, helping with plenty of liquid. Take it preferably during meals.
