Vimovo

Vimovo is a pharmaceutical product that contains an association of naproxen and esomeprazole. It is indicated to relieve the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, and to reduce the risk of developing gastric ulcers in patients treated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Vimovo is not recommended for the initial treatment of acute pain because the absorption of naproxen is slower than with other products containing naproxen.
